Lauren & Dan | Wedding | The Barn at Gibbet Hill

This April I photographed a gorgeous wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill for my neighbor’s daughter, Lauren. Lauren got ready just one house down from mine, and the church, St. Patrick Parish in Watertown, also just down the street. This sure made the first part of my day a wedding photographer’s dream! We teamed up with photographer Helen Makadia, whose new talent I have just recently discovered! Maria and I were so excited to work with her and we hope to see her at many more of our weddings. Thank you Helen for your excellent second shooting!

Courtney & Ryan | Engaged | Boston Public Gardens

We met up with Courtney and Ryan this past weekend in downtown Boston on Newbury Street and walked up and around Commonwealth Avenue and the Boston Public Gardens. The tulips and cherry blossoms were out in full force and they just added such an extra bit of amazing color to their pics. I only wish they were up all summer long. Courtney and Ryan are getting married this summer at the Intercontinental Hotel Boston.

Mateo | Our Newest Addition | Super Cute

It is without further delay that I am excited to finally blog about our newest addition to the Phillips family. Baby Mateo was born in late March weighing over 8lbs, 20 inches, and do I need to point out… a Full head of hair. The anticipation of knowing what your baby looks like over nine months is just crazy. And when I saw him for the first time in the delivery room, I had to do a double take as I was expecting a “baby”, not a little man. But it was truly love at first sight, and I look forward to photographing him as often as possible (that’s a no brainer, I know).

Right now he is healthy, happy, 3lbs heavier, 3 inches longer, and wicked gassy lol !!!

Can’t forget to share a quick video clip…. really short but really cute!

Magezi Mukandala - Marina and I wish you and Maria simply the best blessings that God has to offer for you two and the little man, Mateo. Keep the photos coming, as we completely expected, as we love seeing you two being so favored with such an adorable bundle. Your family deserves such love and Marina and I include you in our prayers for much more to come. Have a wonderful evening, with hopefully some sleep.

Many blessings and prayers your way.

Sincerely,
Magezi (and Marina)

Laura (Narby) Davies - Brian – Congratulations! Mateo is gorgeous – just like you and Maria. I bet your mom is excited! (P.S. I think newborn feet are the coolest!)

Linda Rath - Thanks so much for the visit today. Mateo is delicious–such an adorable baby! Your warmth and love really touched my heart.
I will keep following him on your site and hope to see all three of you in person again this summer. We’ll sit outside and pretend we’re in California.

Mazel tov to the Phillips and Panaggio families!
Linda

Maria | AOL | Photo appearing on AisleDash.com

Just wanted to share a photo that is appearing now on AOL’s newest wedding website, AisleDash.com. Maria’s photo was used for a story on Creative Ceremony Seating. AisleDash.com just launched in mid-march and is a new online destination resource for brides-to-be to help them throughout the planning process by giving real-life advice.

This is just a screen shot, but you can click this link AisleDash.com to read the article and see the whole slide show.

Dragon Downspouts | Downtown Boston | Can you name this church?

We have just wrapped up a 2 month project with a very historical and wonderful church in downtown Boston.  A full blog post is to come, but had to share this photo of their Dragon Downspouts.  These are very hard to see from street level (although possible), and it is a unique design feature of the church that probably most Bostonians never new existed.  Shoot us a message on our Facebook Fan Page if you think you know the church!
