Just got back from a few days down in Naples, FL and Marco Island. Weather was just fantastic and just in time before I leave for “sunny” Buffalo next week to visit my family for Christmas. So the warm Florida memories and beautiful sunsets will definitely keep me going while surviving the artic weather next week.
Below are just a few pics with my Nikon Coolpix point & shoot camera that I had to share. Isn’t the one of Santa just classic Florida? It was actually odd being in Florida just a few weeks prior to Christmas as the holiday music in stores and decorations on peoples houses and businesses was over the top. I guess they are just over-compensating. FYI…There was no color correction at all in the photos below, just a contrast adjustment…honestly!

I must say that we were so privledged again to work with and photograph just such a stunningly beautiful bride with the most sincere and down to earth personality! The groom was pretty chill to! And to photograph our third Boston Public Library wedding of the year was an added bonus. The day was highlighted by simply an amazing Monique Lhuillier dress, an absolutely awesome bouquet created by Marc Hall of Winstons, decadent finger foods and speciality drinks, and most importantly .. elegantly designed down to the smallest of details by the prodigious team at Rafanelli Events.

Some of the design ideas included… Drinks: Missletoe Martini and a Snow White Martini | Buffet: Golden Beat Salad, Cider Glazed Pork, New England Seafood Pot Pie | Desserts/Mini Sweets: Mini Peacan Pies, Chocolate Truffles, Hot Chocolate Shooters, and you can’t forget the Egg Nog! John of blueGuava put together a tremendous arrangement of flowers and DJ Deja of Music Management DJ’d the event. Also, the in-house lighting really added to the ambience of this showcase.

Probably one of our favorite venues on Cape Cod for a wedding is definitely the Chatham Bars Inn. Rain or shine, we love this venue! Alyssa & Scott did have some rain on their day, but the wedding was a blast and we were still able to squeeze in time to get outside for some photos. Enjoy!!!
